Who is responsible
Claritas Technology is registered in Limbe, Cameroon and is responsible for personal information collected through this corporate website. Our business contact address is Ngeme Stadium Entrance, Limbe, Southwest Region, Cameroon. Website form submissions are directed to [email protected]. Direct support inquiries and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected]. Regional contact options do not imply a separate legal entity or physical office in each country.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we collect the information you enter: your name, organisation, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, selected region, inquiry type, requested service, project description, timing, budget range, preferred contact method and referral source. We also receive any optional supporting file and your consent to our use of the inquiry details. Required fields are marked on the form. Please provide only information needed to understand your request; do not include passwords, API keys, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive records.
Technical information and preferences
A website request necessarily exposes connection information, such as an IP address, requested URL, time and browser headers, to the hosting infrastructure. Security controls use request information to limit abuse. The application keeps a short-lived, in-memory request counter; it does not use that counter for advertising. We store your cookie preference in your browser, as described in the Cookie Policy. The language is selected through the /en or /fr URL, without a language-tracking cookie.
Why we use information
We use inquiry details to respond, understand requirements, prepare a requested proposal and communicate about that request. We use technical information to serve and protect the website, investigate errors and prevent misuse. Where applicable, processing is based on steps requested before a contract, performance of an agreed service, our legitimate interest in operating a secure business, legal obligations or consent. The form permission does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise unrelated marketing. You can withdraw consent for future optional processing by contacting us; this does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
How contact submissions are handled
All selected regions route to the same support mailbox. The region helps us understand your context; it does not change the recipient. A successful form confirmation means our mail service accepted the message for transmission, not that someone has read it. If transmission fails, the form keeps your entries so you can retry or use a direct contact option. Entries retained while closing the contact dialog exist only in the current page session and disappear when it is reloaded. Uploaded files are validated and passed to the mail service without being extracted or published; the application does not create a public attachment archive.
Who may receive information
Information may be accessed by people authorised to answer your inquiry and by hosting, security and email providers to the extent required to operate those services. We do not sell inquiry information or use this website to build advertising profiles. A separate project may involve other suppliers; their role and access should be addressed in that project's agreement. We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and investigate abuse.
International processing
Our business is based in Cameroon. Internet infrastructure, email delivery and a contact service you choose may process information in another country. The location of your selected contact region does not guarantee that data stays there. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply to the transfer. You may ask us about the providers and processing arrangements relevant to your inquiry.
Retention
We retain inquiry correspondence for as long as needed to answer it, manage a resulting business relationship and meet applicable recordkeeping or dispute requirements. We do not promise a single retention period for every record: the purpose, whether a contract results, applicable legal duties and any ongoing dispute determine the period. You may request deletion of an inquiry that is no longer needed. Necessary records may be retained where deletion would conflict with a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of a claim. Browser consent preferences expire after 180 days; transient form entries are not saved to browser storage.
Security
The website validates form input, limits request and attachment sizes and applies abuse controls. Production SMTP delivery is configured to require an encrypted connection with certificate verification. Access to received messages must be limited to authorised users. No website, device or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. If you believe information has been exposed or misused, contact support promptly without sending additional sensitive material.
Your rights and requests
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may request information about processing, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email [email protected] with enough context to locate your request; we may ask for proportionate identity verification to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any lawful reason a request cannot be fulfilled. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority where available under applicable law.
Children, links and other services
The corporate inquiry website is intended for business and professional communications. Children should not submit personal information without an appropriate adult's involvement. Contact us if a child has submitted information that should be removed. Links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, our apps or other sites open services with their own privacy terms. We do not load a WhatsApp chat widget, external map or advertising tracker merely because you view this website.
Applicable framework and changes
This policy is applied alongside applicable privacy law, including Cameroon's Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on personal data protection where applicable. It does not remove mandatory protections that may apply in another jurisdiction. We update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice or seek fresh consent when a material change requires it.
